Mistakes were made...
Must have a paper due soon because for some reason I thought it better to clean, and then run over to the farmers market this morning. The book, Mistakes Were Made (but not by me), was an agreeable read of social psychology. Basically it deals with how our self-justification of beliefs, and actions, even though they may be wrong, allows us to cope with ourselves and those decisions. Everyone has been guilty of it, and I know myself as well. Family, school, relationships and friends. If I were able to step back and critically analyze my actions of the past, at that time, things could have been different during many points of my life. How many times is there a family member we justify by saying, that's just how they are, or they are the black sheep of the family. How many times do we justify a bad relationship, or friendship for various reasons that when thought of critically make no sense. In school people cheating or taking drugs to help them stay awake, study more, or just get through the day. Then justify it by the need to get ahead. Politicians have perfected not admitting they were wrong, which is really scary. Actors and Athletes tend to be really good at it too.
Enough procrastinating, I can't justify it anymore, I need to write a paper now.
